Escape Studios rises again in 2023 Animation School rankings

Animation Career Review have released their 2023 Animation School Rankings, comparing nearly 200 institutions worldwide. Escape studios has not only maintained its prominent position in the UK and European rankings, but also climbed the global leaderboard! 

Escape Studios has been ranked: 

• #3 for Animation in the UK (#3 in 2022) 

• #8 for Animation in Europe (#8 in 2022) 

• #14 for Animation Internationally (#15 in 2022)

The Animation Career Review Rankings have been published every year since 2012 and are designed to serve as a starting point for students to discover the schools that are the best fit for them.  

Each institution put forward is ranked according to the following criteria:  

• Academic reputation  

• Admission selectivity  

• Depth and breadth of the program faculty  

• Value as it relates to tuition and indebtedness  

• Graduation rate  

Escape Studios has been teaching Animation, Games and Visual Effects courses since 2002, working with top industry partners such as Blue Zoo, Framestore and Jellyfish pictures. Students study in industry-standard facilities using professional software such as Maya, ToonBoon Harmony and Blender. As well as featuring in Animation Career Review’s rankings, Escape Studios has also been placed 2nd in the UK and 10th in the world for Animation and Visual Effects Excellence by The Rookies.
