The VFX Festival

The VFX Festival occured 3rd - 4th June 2024 at the BFI IMAX, in Waterloo, London! Thanks to all of our amazing speakers, attendees and sponsors for making The VFX Festival this year the biggest it's ever been!

Hosted by Escape Studios, The VFX Festival brings together the creative community, allowing emerging talent to explore the best of the screen industries and providing opportunities for professionals to share and expand their knowledge.

The festival features insights into award-winning productions, inspiring expert-led presentations and careers advice, as well as the latest trends, technology and innovation.

This year's event featured an impressive line-up of industry speakers from some of the world’s leading studios, including Industrial Light & Magic, Union VFX, Blue Bolt, Painting Practice, Automatik VFX, Atomhawk, Playground Games, DNEG Animation, Blue Zoo, Nexus, Cinesite and Climax Games.

There were also talks on the making of acclaimed films, shows and games including Poor Things, The Creator, Napoleon, Doctor Who, Under The Boardwalk and Forza Horizon.
