Office for Students registration

Pearson College Limited is registered with the Office for Students (OfS) under the approved (fee cap) category. The OfS is the regulator for higher education providers in England. For more information, see the OfS website.

We are committed to widening participation in higher education and have an access and participation plan, which is approved by the Office for Students (OfS).

The aim of access and participation plans is to set out how higher education providers will improve equality of opportunity for underrepresented groups to access, succeed in and progress from higher education.

Our access and participation plan includes:

  • Our ambition for change

  • What we plan to do to achieve that change

  • Our targets

  • Our investment to deliver the plan

Current access and participation plan

This includes the variation to our access and participation plan for the year 2023/24, which was approved by the Office for Students in January 2023:

Rounding and suppression

The data contained in the tables in this workbook have been rounded and suppressed as follows.

Numerators and denominators have been rounded to the nearest 10. Where the numerator or denominator rounds to 20 or less, the data are suppressed with an "N".

Percentages are rounded according to the smallest, unsuppressed denominator in a given mode and characteristic. If the denominator rounds to:

  • 50 or less: percentages are rounded to 5%

  • 1000 or less: percentages are rounded to 1%

  • More than 1000: percentages are rounded to 0.1%.

"N/A" is displayed where there is no provision in a given mode or level.

"DP" indicates suppression for data protection reasons. This is applied where the numerator is two or less, or differs from the denominator by no more than two students.

Pearson College London recognises that students may wish to change their programme or provider mid-course and we would support students wishing to make a transfer.

The College's Student Transfer Policy sets out our arrangements for the following:

I. Students transferring to Pearson College London from another institution;
II. Students transferring to another provider from Pearson College London;
III. Students transferring between courses or modes of study within Pearson College London.

Please note:
Students should note that student transfer can have implications for degree classification, student finance and visa arrangements, where applicable. Those in receipt of student loans from the Student Loans Company (SLC) should contact the SLC for advice and guidance. We regret that we are currently unable to accept any students who require a Tier 4 visa.
