Escapeverse Live Returns in February 2026

Escape Studios, one of the UK’s leading schools for Animation, Games and VFX, is bringing back Escapeverse Live for a second year. 

Taking place between 24^th - 26^th February 2026, Escapeverse Live celebrates the best of the creative industries, presenting industry leaders from across the worlds of VFX, animation, games and more. Online and completely free, audiences around the world can join a community of students, alumni and top professionals in learning and discussion throughout this three-day event.  

In 2025, Escapeverse Live launched hosting talks and panels from 42 leading professionals representing over 15 top studios. The event brought together more than 800 attendees from all over the world. 

This year’s programme follows in its footsteps, offering a range of engaging talks and panels - from insider insights into what top studios are working on today, to hands-on career advice direct from those in the know.  

Escapeverse Live is livestreamed from the Escape Studios campus in North Greenwich, London. Attendees will join webinars with expert speakers including:

• Rebecca Meilak, Feature Animator at DNEG Animation 
• HaZ Dulull, Founder/ Director of Beyond the Pixels 
• Simon Carr, Creative Director at Vine FX

• Lisa-Mae Evans, Creative CG Supervisor at Blue Zoo 
• Henry Badgett, VFX Supervisor and Creative Director at BlueBolt 
• Dave Cook, CG Supervisor at BlueBolt 
• Kim Sinclair, Production Designer (Avatar, Avatar: The Way of Water, Avatar: Fire and Ash).  

Professor Ian Palmer, Principal of Escape Studios, shares his thoughts on the upcoming festival:
