Professor David Docherty

Professor Docherty has spent his career in media and education. He completed a doctorate at the London School of Economics before becoming an academic specialising in mass communications. He was the BBC's first Director of New Media, and Deputy Director of Television, and has been chair or CEO of several TV and online businesses. He was Chair of Governors at the University of Luton and is currently an honorary professor at UCL. He was previously a long serving board member of Digital Catapult and is a trustee of Education and Employers.
