Escape Studios climbs 2022 Animation School rankings
Escape Studios has continued to establish its position in the 2022 Animation School Rankings, which is compiled by Animation Career Review and reviews nearly 200 global institutions.
Escape Studios has been ranked:
#3 for Animation in the UK (#3 in 2021)
#8 for Animation in Europe (#9 in 2021)
#14 for Animation Internationally (#14 in 2021)
Alex Williams, Dean/Director of Animation & Visual Effects at Escape Studios said: “Once again, we're delighted to have moved up the European rankings this year. A huge congratulations goes out to our internationally acclaimed tutor team, who are dedicated to providing the best teaching experience for our students, who themselves are graduating and starting successful careers with some of the world’s leading studios.”
The rankings aim to provide aspiring animators with an indication of the best schools so they can make an informed decision on what program to pursue.
Each institution put forward is ranked on the following criteria:
Depth and breadth of the program faculty
Value as it relates to tuition and indebtedness
Escape Studios has been at the forefront of teaching computer animation since 2002, using industry-professional software such as Maya and Toon Boom Harmony. This enables students to become skilled in the various departments within the animation pipeline, from pre-production to post-production, including 2D Animation and 3D Animation, but also Storyboarding and Previsualisation.
