Escape Studios honoured for digital prospectus at the Heist Awards

Escape Studios was honoured with the silver award for ‘Best Student Recruitment Publication’ at the 2022 Heist Awards in July, for its undergraduate prospectus.

The Awards celebrate marketing excellence within further and higher education - this category recognised institutions that have demonstrated sector-leading innovation and creativity whilst also considering equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI), accessibility and sustainability.

Judges congratulated the team at the awards ceremony in Manchester: “Dynamic, engaging and befitting for the audience, Escape Studios made great use of student stories to bring to life the nature and values of their institution. This screamed creativity, which really impressed the judges.”

Published for the first time in 2021, Escape Studios’ prospectus showcased its undergraduate programmes in VFX, Animation and Games. Since its publication, the prospectus has been one of Escape’s leading publications and has received positive feedback from teachers, advisors and students.  This was the first year the team took a digital-first approach where viewers can watch and view content in real-time. The prospectus also featured artwork created by current students and alumni, bringing the courses to life.

“The Heist Awards are a real mark of quality in the sector, and I’m delighted that our prospectus has been honoured,” said Telia Smith, Director of External Relations. “At Escape Studios creativity and innovation are at the heart of everything we do, and our campaigns are a direct reflection of this. To win the silver award is a great achievement for the team.”

The Heist Awards, hosted by Havas Education, has been running for over 30 years and this year’s awards ceremony was the first time the event was held in person since the pandemic. The winners were announced on Thursday 14th July 2022 at the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel, Manchester.
