Simon Browne

Simon Browne has been producing animations for over 20 years and has a wealth of industry experience, having worked in TV, advertising and corporate media, creating animation and procedural simulations. Simon specialises in simulation-based animation, but he is also an experienced 3D generalist and keyframe animator.  

Simon has experience with matchmoving and coding, and is skilled in Maya, Houdini, 3dsMax, Redshift, After Effects and Unity. As a Houdini artist, Simon’s strengths include fluid simulation, explosions, water interaction, fog, and cloth simulations. Simon joined the School of Animation and Visual Effects as a Houdini Tutor in 2023 and teaches on our undergraduate degrees.
