  • See animation and VFX demos run by our expert tutors!

  • Learn about building a creative career from our Dean of Animation and Visual Effects Alex Williams and our Head of Visual Effects Clement Gharini.

This event is split into two parts. The morning session is designed for 10–16 year-olds and parents/caregivers and teachers . The afternoon session is for ages 16+.

For attendees aged 10-16, you must be accompanied by an adult (e.g. parent/guardian).

  • Myth busters - How much do you really know about careers in the creative industries?

  • Behind the green screen with Harry Potter's Clement Gharini (Head of Visual Effects at Escape Studios).

  • An inside look at pre/post-production Escapee student films.

  • AI in the creative industries: friend or foe? with Alex Williams, Lion King Animator (Dean of Animation and Visual Effects at Escape Studios).

    For attendees aged 10-16, you must be accompanied by an adult (e.g. parent/guardian).

For ages 16+ (1:30PM - 4:00PM)

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Myth busters - How much do you really know about careers in the creative industries?

  • From pen and paper to the big screen – How to create characters and bring them to life, with Lion King Animator Alex Williams (Dean of Animation and Visual Effects at Escape Studios).

  • Visual Effects, Bridging Real and Unreal Worlds – Much older than many may suspect, the art of visual effects has secretly contributed to the entertainment of millions over nearly a century. Head of VFX, Clement Gharini will provide a glimpse into the magic of this most creative profession.

  • AI in the creative industries: friend or foe? with Alex Williams.
