Escape Studios joins Women in Games as Education Ambassador

Women in Games Education Ambassador Programme goes from strength to strength as one of the UK's leading animation, games and VFX training and teaching institutions, Escape Studios, joins the initiative this month.

Based in North Greenwich, the school prides itself on its industry-relevant curriculum, built and taught by industry professionals who are actively engaged in the creative sector. With state-of-the-art facilities and a supportive learning environment, Escape Studios allows students to explore and unleash their creativity, and pursue their passion for art and technology. Escape Studios also hosts the annual The VFX Festival which takes place this year on June 3rd - 4th at the BFI IMAX in Waterloo, London.

Escape Studios’ Dean/Director of Interactive and Real Time Simon Fenton said: “We are honoured and excited to unite with Women in Games as their new Education Ambassador. This collaboration goes beyond education; it's about inspiring diversity, removing barriers and cultivating community in the games' industry. Aligned with Women in Games, we embark on a journey to empower more women in games, the industry's future leaders. Our goal is to ensure that every individual has the chance to flourish and make an impact.”

Women in Games CEO Marie-Claire Isaaman added: “Escape Studios is a celebrated and forward-thinking education institution, and so we are delighted that it has joined our Education Ambassador Programme. We look forward to working with Simon and the team to encourage and support women looking to enter the worlds of games, animation and VFX.”
