If you’re applying to study with us, or just looking around, it’s handy to be aware of the many scholarships you might be eligible for. One of the scholarships we’re proud to offer our undergraduate home students is the industry scholarship

What is the Industry Scholarship?

Our industry scholarship is an opportunity to have your first year’s tuition fees paid, and is offered to five undergraduate home students each year. Our most recent cohort of scholarship recipients have now started the second term of their first year at Escape Studios, and share what this achievement means to them:

“Receiving a scholarship from Escape Studios is a sign I'm on the right track. It's recognition of my work as a Concept Artist and an even greater incentive to continue pursuing my goal. I'm grateful to Escape Studios for preparing people for the industry through its atmosphere and projects.” - Daria Sokolnykova, BA (Hons) Concept Art and Experience Design.

“I’ve dreamed of studying 2D animation since I was young. It's an honour to be chosen for a scholarship, it gives me the encouragement to never stop learning and continue to grow as an artist. I’m excited to keep developing my skills and contribute to the creative community at Escape Studios.” - Dorina Vikor-Barcza, BA (Hons) The Art of Computer Animation (2D).

“I am beyond thrilled to have received this scholarship at Escape Studios and I’m grateful for the recognition and support. This will aid me in developing my abilities in Technical Art, and I am excited for the future” - Elle Burton, BSc (Hons) Technical Art for Games & VFX.

How do I apply?

The first step is to apply to your degree of choice via UCAS by the equal consideration deadline, which this year is Wednesday 14th January at 6pm GMT for September 2026 entry.

The next step? If you meet our entry requirements, you will then be invited to submit a digital portfolio or task. Send us your best work that you’re most proud of - our undergraduate portfolio guide talks you through how to do this this for each degree.

Our Admissions Team will let you know if you have made the longlist. The five recipients are selected by our panel of industry experts - an elite team of leading professionals from across the games, animation and VFX industries at companies like Cinesite and Universal Creative. This will usually take place after students have enrolled in September.

The very best of luck to all our applicants and, among them, our future scholarship recipients! For more information on how to apply for our undergraduate degrees, you can check our admissions resources, or contact the team for a helping hand.
