Game Design Tutor
Patrick is a Game Design Tutor, and has previously worked in the games industry, with production credits as a Real-Time VFX Artist on titles at some of the UK's most prolific studios, including Creative Assembly, Rare, & Surgent Studios. His production credits span multiple AAA titles, including Total War: Warhammer II & III, Sea of Thieves, Everwild, Hyenas, and a number of yet to be announced titles.
His primary skillset is in real-time VFX & technical art; having extensive experience creating particle effects, shaders, and simulations for real-time productions. With an interest in all areas of the pipeline and real-time engines, Patrick is additionally well versed in visual scripting, 3D modelling workflows, and PBR texturing.
Patrick is an MA Game Art Escapee, having graduated in 2018 before immediately entering the games industry. Teaching and preparing students to create optimized and production-standard work is his key focus, with an emphasis on the importance of maintaining a healthy balance between career, hobbies, rest, and personal life.
