Escape Studios 2022 Rookies rankings

Escape Studios has been recognised as one of the leading institutions in the world to learn game design and development, according to the 2022 Rookies Rankings. 

The 2022 Rookies Rankings place Escape Studios first in the UK and ninth in the world for Game Design & Development. Its Game Art courses are designed to teach the latest workflows and industry practices, while industry mentored group projects prepare students for working in teams with the latest software such as Unreal Engine, Maya and Substance. The Rookies Rankings also place Escape Studios:  

  • Second in the UK and 38th globally within the overall Top 50 Creative Media & Entertainment Schools and Colleges

  • Second in the UK and 10th globally for Visual Effects and Animation within a production environment  

The Rookies has been ranking creative media and entertainment schools since 2009 with the goal of helping aspiring artists find trusted schools to help them forge successful careers in creative fields. Compiled by highly influential and respected industry experts, this year’s Rankings are based on over 4,500 portfolios from students that attended over 500 schools and colleges around the world.
