Escape Studios launches joint honours degrees for 2027 entry

Escape Studios, the UK’s leading specialist school for Animation, Games and VFX training has launched four new undergraduate degrees for September 2027 entry*.

These new programmes have been developed in response to growing demand for graduates with both creative and technical expertise, alongside increasing interest from students who want to explore multiple disciplines before specialising. 

With course content designed in collaboration with industry professionals from studio partners including Creative Assembly, DNEG, Framestore and nDreams, these degrees bring together key modules from Escape Studios' established programmes to create broader, industry-connected learning pathways. Built by industry, for industry, the programmes are designed to equip students with a versatile skillset and prepare them for careers across the creative industries.

The new degrees for 2027 entry are: 

• BA (Hons)/MArt Computer Animation and Visual Effects 
• BA (Hons)/MArt Video Games Art and Design 
• BSc (Hons)/MSci Games Programming and Development 
• BSc (Hons)/MSci Creative Computing.
